Airlink ALWH driver If you have this old cheap and hardy adapter, and wish to save some loose change just follow what I have done and perhaps you will be spared from buying a new adapter. These drivers are supposed to provide the full Mbps “enhanced” speed for the Airlink. But won’t I have to press F8 every time I start Windows 7?

Similar help and support threads. I ran the Drivermax Identification process and found this I tried downloading the drivers from Airlink website but it wlays say that the driver is currupt.
These drivers are supposed to provide the full Mbps “enhanced” speed for the Airlink. Hope it works for you.

I am wondering if my wireless adapter will work with it or not. My Airlink card now works, despite thinking it’s an Atheros card. Of course, you need to figure out which Ralink chip is used for your card. I just wish Airlink could’ve used good drivers in the first place, I’m not buying their hardware again!

You might have heard that using certain Dlink drivers for this card works, but I tried and it wouldn’t accept the drivers on Windows 7 x My old Airlink adapters work that way. I have heard a lot of people having trouble finding the driver needed to get it to work in Vista and im not sure if its going to work in Windows 7.

I went into device manager Windows 7 Home Premium bitmanually looked through the vixta of drivers, and used the Atheros ARG driver – confirming it despite Windows thinking it was the wrong one.
aw,h4130 The time now is I clean installed Windows 7 a few weeks ago and my system is clean as far as clean goes as in only 15 programs installed of which 5 x NVIDIA.
